It's really cool idea for PR.....
  • That's how you do it, I'm speechless.

Doesn't it make you want to quit advertising, though? Well, I already did. Maybe I've got the 2nd best job in the world. All I can say, anybody who's showing up at an agency tomorrow is a sucker. Seriously, go freelance. Without great creative the money people go hungry.

Bloody brilliant. Does not get better or smarter than this. (Note, please, how much money was lavished on the typographical intros at the beginning of this clip. What would you say? Maybe a buck-fifty? And they were perfect. And informative. And effective.)

The idea I can appreciate. However, to say it was a great advertising campaign is a stretch. This was a PR driven campaign. The ad was a classified.
Great idea? YES. Great advert? What advert?
    Brilliant PR.

I guess you had to be at Cannes after a few drinks to appreciat it.
  • the best job in the world campaign was simply brilliant. Tourism Queenland is practically a household name at this point and I'm sure those who applied for the job are certainly planning a vacation to the area in the future. the social media campaign was awe inspiring.
  • Quiero trabajar ahí y en la agencia que hizo la campaña, se puede ???
  • Great concepts don't have to break the bank !

    THE FANTASTIC IDEA!
  • SO a classified ad won Cannes, it was the PR that drove this campaign.

What a job - and I get stuck writing ads all day in a little cubicle. This is a pretty interesting interview with Nitro's founder and CEO, Chris Clarke, just before Cannes - and Sapient handing him US$25 million big ones. http://agency.asia/issue-02/126-interviews/238-chris-clarke-a-jennifer-tan-nitro.html
Some might say that this guy is the one with the best job in the world. Life's just not fair!
