Strength in numbers…Braveheart’s William Wallace would be proud of this ad; and probably quite thirsty for a Strongbow.

Agency: St. Lukes Communications

Country: England

Brand: Strongbow

Advertiser: Strongbow Courage

As a response to A BIG AD, it's funny... but it's too damn close... sorry Wallace, but numbers are already taken by another brand...try something original for a change
  • fantastic, that's all i love in advertising...

excellent excellent cinematography, great depictions. I felt the richness, through and through. Subtle yet loud. Bravo.

Same idea as the "This Bud's For You' radio ads that ran in the USA in 2008
  • Like it.

    i didnt get it
  • Very well done. It's lovely to see real parody in the service of advertising, which is to say work that has a genuine and powerful connection with brand it is serving. (As opposed to most of the work shown today which is all about the advertising and the brand is beside the point.)

That's very well done... too bad no women drink Strongbow (apparently)... maybe next time

Couldn't figure out what this was selling. First I thought it was a TV satellite service provider. I think the "300" style is getting to be a bit cliche.
  • Terrific. To the guy who doesn't get it - sigh.

Nothing like a bunch of grungy guys with satellite dishes to make me thirsty.
