Its funny because she's the actress playing "Coco" Chanel in the new movie "Coco before Chanel" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GF0eV9oFN34)

    very beautiful ad cinema.
    Audrey is so lovely.
  • Facebook User
nice and dreamy. photography is excellent.
  • Spaz
    Lovely
  • Marty
Sensual? Yes. Good photography? Yes. Unique and original? No. But Audrey Tautou is nice and "I'm A Fool To Want You" is a great standard so it fits nicely in terms of setting the mood.
  • another exploitation of music to carry the image and a big budget (surely) not used to the full

A classic perfume, an oriental city... good idea; but I'm not objective becouse of Istanbul, I'm living there.

Great mood. Great talent. Great locations. Great direction. Just great. I want to work at Tapioca!
  • Melda
Just wondering the location. It looks like Istanbul Turkey! Any idea!
  • Ephelides
Limoges train station in the middle of France and indeed Istanbul
  • tomeegee
Should have just kept the tension and desire on the train. Perhaps cutting as the Chanel bottle pans across the wall of her cabin. Everything after reaching the station was just dull.

unfortunately this clip doesn't have in my opinion the magic touch that former N°5 movie had in the past. Shame as the movie Coco avant Chanel is a great success...
  • kokolis
    it leaves great sense......it smells
  • Absolutely amazing. Chanel knows exactly how to get their message across.
  • sexy, romantic & dramatic

Wow! "PERFOMER: Audrey Tautou"! It's the first time I see the name of an actor in credits here. Wait! How about the guy who was performing opposite her? Was she the only PERFORMER in the spot? Maybe she was completely alone. She was running after no one, being seduced by no one and in the end being kissed by nobody. It seems that only celebrities are performers. All the other actors who lend their talent to inumerous productions are simply... NOBODY.
Actors deserve credit for their work.

Phil sounds a bit like a disgruntled male model (I mean "struggling actor"). Maybe the production company only included her because unlike her male counterpart she is SOMEBODY. It also has a bit to do with the fact that it is an ad for Women's perfume; oh yeah and here is the best part about it...Audrey Tautou is starring in an upcoming biopic about the life of COCO CHANEL. Maybe that has something to do with it? Nice rant though, entertaining.

Beautifully shot and directed. They really understand the brand. Pure Chanel.
  • Zero idea. And how much did they spend to shoot this? A crime.
  • Gotta love the Leica M8!

Beautiful. Maybe the concept isn't too original but it hits the target audience perfectly.
  • Francois Jeunet must be an alias for Jean-Pierre Jeunet-

this commercial was definitely created by him.
  • Chanel is a classic and although the spot is a play on a typical classic romantic story, I would have to say that the brand and the romance mesh. The cinematography is incredible.
  • Larry Muse
    Who would not love Audrey!
  • serdem
    istanbul istanbul istanbul !
  • Ariane
More of the same, but yes...excellent photography, timing and lighting!
  • BillBor
Oh puhleeeeze. She's gorgeous, he's gorgeous, it's shot gorgeously yet this spot smells. Inane, idealess, pablum. Sorry, but Chanel is the ultimate classic fragrance, yet this elaborate yawn says nothing unique about them. One can insert any fragrance brand at the end. Sadly, they spend vast amounts on production value and zero on the value of an idea. I see that a lot from this same agency, the one called In-House.
  • KMF
    cinematography es fantastique!
  • Adrian
excelent photography, timing and casting but not too original
