All fish go to heaven…This ad is like that perfect Mother’s Day Card, it says it all just right.

  • Brazil has really led the way in terms of visual communication for years, even dating back to the Concrete Poetry movement over 60 years ago. But, what market was this for? The verbal lines are in Portuguese, the writing and Mother's Day greeting are in English. While the visuals capture the wonder a mother creates in explaining things for her child, if, indeed, the final panels and "Happy Mothers Day" are in English, not sure the ad conveys the message "buy something for your mom at Boticario" without the words telling you to do so.

    Nothing to do with the strategy or Mothers Day. An excuse for the creatives to indulge themselves with a product bolted on at the end.

    definite winner of the week! it is formed and packed in a really nice and warm way (like Mother's Day should be!) and CW has managed to appeal for the needs necessary for selling the product. i think it is definately a conception that works (read: gives the cash flow). bravo!
