Slavi is a direct marketing professional with extensive experience in the design and implementation of digital and relationship marketing programs. Since joining Wunderman in 2000, Slavi has developed results- driven strategies for such prominent global brands as Microsoft, HP, AT&T, Citibank, IBM, and Sony.

As Director of New York’s Insights and Optimization team, Slavi provides leadership in web analytics; SEO and SEM planning; social media mining; speech analytics; audience targeting and segmentation; experimental design; and on-going optimization.

Slavi’s entrepreneurial spirit and great passion for innovation have been demonstrated through numerous client engagements where he has led the delivery of pioneering solutions in the areas of dashboard reporting, scenario planning, advanced analytics automation, and search integration.
Most recently, Slavi led the development of the Listening Platform, Wunderman’s proprietary solution for attaining timely, unfiltered, and un-moderated consumer insights, previously unavailable and unquantifiable to marketers. Listening Platform is combination of cutting edge technologies and processes designed to capture and analyze consumer behaviors at key moments of their journey by connecting consumer intentions (search), conversations (social media), and expressions (call center audio). The result is a rich, multi-dimensional seam of insight which is radically different and deeper than conventional research practices.

For his contribution to the agency and his clients, Slavi has received numerous recognitions and awards, most notably WPP’s 2008 Atticus Merit for original thinking in Digital Communications.
Slavi started his career at Principal Financial Group in the Market Research department, and later moved to the Data Analysis and Modeling group where he embraced direct marketing. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, Marketing and Finance from Drake University. He has taken graduate level coursework in digital telephony with the Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program at the University of Colorado, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has been published in DM News, BtoB Magazine, and Atticus Journal. He is also instructor for Wunderman University.
Slavi lives in Connecticut with his wife and two children. In his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities and coaching youth soccer.
