With a degree in semiotic, Bruno Bertelli joined his first agency in New York as an intern in Saatch & Saatchi. He remained in New York for two years as a junior copywriter for Wurtzel and Glenn and De Plano Group.
Back in Italy he has worked for RAI, the state Italian television, as programmer author before rejoining the ADworld at Publicis.
He moved to JWT in 1998 as a senior copywriter working on clients such as Unilever, Nestlé and Heineken.
In 2008 he becomes Deputy Creative Director always in JWT Milan and in 2010 he has been nominated Creative Director of JWT Rome, maintaining his role and his clients in JWT Milan.
Together with Cristiana Boccassini, Bruno is the most awarded Italian creative and can boast 17 Lions at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, of which six are gold. A Grand Clio, a Grand Prix at ADCE, Eurobest, silver at The One Show, an Andy Award, a silver pencil at the D&AD, as well as many other national and international creative awards.
In December 2010 he joined Publicis Italy as Executive Creative Director with Cristiana Boccassini.
