Stephen Jurisic
Stephen Jurisic began his career by dropping out of the Alberta College of Art because he wanted to be a ski bum. A year later, he decided to give school another try, but this time in Toronto, where he enrolled into the Ontario College of Art.
After graduation, he got his first job at Bozell in 1989, working on the highly acclaimed Black Label beer campaign.

He left Ammirati Puris Lintas a year later to launch John st. with his partners Angus Tucker, Arthur Fleischmann and Emily Bain.
Stephen’s work has garnered awards at Cannes Lions, The One Show, Communication Arts, The Marketing Awards, ADCC, The Bessies, and London Internationals. This year John st. was voted Marketing Magazine’s 2008 Agency of the Year.
He has chaired The Marketing Awards, The Bessies, and has judged for the London Internationals.
Currently, Stephen sits on the board for the Advertising and Design Club of Canada and speaks on a regular basis for the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario. This year Stephen will judge the Masters program for the Ontario College of Art.
Stephen’s other passions are for his family and the outdoors.
